Taking place on the 12-15th of April 2019 in Warsaw, Poland, Grand Beatbox Battle is the biggest annual beatbox battle in the world, featuring over 40 beatboxers from 16 countries competing in 3 categories: Solo, Tag-team, and Loopstation. But you probably already knew that.

There will also be amazing showcases from the 15 judges – some of the best beatboxers in the world – including Beardyman, Reeps One, and Sam Perry (winner of the Voice of Australia 2018) to name a few.

On the 3rd day is the official afterparty and 7toSmoke battle – 100 qualifying beatboxers will attempt to make it into the top 8 for a chance to take out the prestigious 7toSmoke title (previous winners include Alexinho, Colaps, and Alem).

This is the 11th edition of GBB, and due its rapid growth and massive popularity, is the first time it is being held outside of Switzerland. Below you can find all the important information regarding GBB19 and the 7toSmoke battle and afterparty.

You can also find the latest information on the official Facebook Eventpage.

Official GBB19 Hostel

Patchwork Hostel Warsaw

Address: Chmielna 5/7, 00-021 Warsaw, Poland

This year we have reserved an entire hostel just for guests and participants of GBB19. The hostel is located directly in the middle of central Warsaw, and includes a private bar, common area, and multiple kitchen/dining areas on each floor. To book the hostel, you must purchase a valid GBB19 ticket. To book, simply follow the instructions in your ticket confirmation email you received when you purchased your GBB19 ticket.

If the hostel is booked out, or you prefer to stay somewhere a bit more quiet (be warned – the hostel will be full and lively, so if you want some quiet, this is not the place to sleep), there are many other options available in the area, such as New World Street Hostel and Moon Hostel to name a few. However, you will want to stay close to the official hostel as this is where all the action will be between events.
