Hello lovely beatbox community!

First we want to say thank you for your patience with the situation of GBB20 in relation to the Covid-19 virus. We understand you may be concerned about the GBB20 being held in Warsaw, Poland on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of April 2020.

The most important thing for us is the health and safety of our guests and artists, and after waiting for official word from the Polish government, weighing all the facts, and analysing the data, we are not able to guarantee this safety. The Polish government has also cancelled all mass gatherings for the foreseeable future. As such, we have decided that we will be postponing the GBB20 event to the 7th, 8th, and 9th of August 2020.

All purchased tickets for the GBB20 will still be valid for this new date. However, if you are unable to make this date, we can offer you a full refund of the ticket, excluding the booking fee. To do this, please email [email protected] with your personal information and ticket details to start the process of getting a refund.

The venue Progresja will still be the same, so that doesn’t change. However, we will have to secure a new official hostel, as Patchwork Hostel is booked out during this new date. We have spoken with Patchwork, and they have given two options for guests who have already booked with them. We understand that some people are unable to get refunds for flights and transportation, so if you are still planning to come to Warsaw on the 3-5 April anyway, then you can still use your booking at the hostel as usual. Otherwise, we will be using Patchwork again for the GBB 2021, and if you are planning to come to next years event, then you will be able to use your hostel booking during the GBB 2021. If you have any questions about your hostel booking, please reach out to Patchwork Hostel on the following email – [email protected].

Right now our team is working hard to make all this happen, so we appreciate your support and patience during this difficult time. If you have any questions for Swissbeatbox, please do not hesitate to email us at [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as we can. We will also be making further announcements in the coming days and weeks, so please stay tuned. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your patience and understanding, and wish you the best of health during these uncertain times.

Stay safe, and we will see you in the next video.

Much love,
The Swissbeatbox Team.

Pretty sad, but I understand.. I'd rather everyone stay safe and wait longer than have people open to the Covid-19 virus..
